How Long Does a Garage Floor Coating Take?
Some companies promise a floor in a day. We won't. Here's the honest timeline and why it matters.
February 20, 2026

You'll see ads promising a finished floor in one day. We don't make that promise. A floor done right takes a little longer, and it lasts a lot longer. Here's how the schedule really works.
A realistic timeline
Most of our jobs take three days to a week, start to finish. Prep is the biggest part — grinding, crack repair, and cleaning. Then the base coat, the color chips, and the topcoat each need time to go down and set. We confirm the full schedule with you before we start.
When can you use it?
Walk times and drive times depend on the system and the temperature. We give you clear guidance at the end of the job so you're not guessing when to move the car back in.
Why we won't rush it
Cutting cure time is how floors fail. We'd rather tell you the honest schedule up front than hand you a floor that peels in a year. The owner is on every job to make sure each step is done right.
